When delivering your new outdoor storage shed or garage, our professional driver will need approximately 40 feet of clearance in front of the proposed site. All obstructions must be removed from the area where your outdoor storage structure will be placed—trees, obstacles, etc. Please contact us for delivery fees. Pricing is based on mileage from the point of origin to your site.
In terms of site prep, cinder blocks are not recommended as a base for the installation of custom sheds. A gravel pad site of 3/4″ limestone about 3-4 inches deep is ideal. The gravel pad should also be about two (2) feet larger all around than your outdoor storage structure’s dimensions. Prepare the pad site using the following steps:
- Remove any sod from the area in the appropriate size and shape of your garage or shed’s footprint
- Remove any dirt as necessary to level the area
- Tamp the gravel down until flat and level
After your new garden shed or garage has been installed, a border of pressure-treated lumber or paver blocks will help keep the gravel in place, but it is not required.
